Hanging around the Sacred Valley and heavenly meals in Cusco!

Hey lads! We have treating ourselves in Cusco after the Inca Trail. We took the last days easy and enjoyed nice meals in Cusco with Xavi and his Catalan Restaurant. With him we cooked a fideua, a typical Catalan dish and shared many moments, including a crazy night out! Besides this, we went for 3 days to the Inca Sacred Valley around Cusco. We did it on our own and moving from village to village, and visiting different Inca ruins.
We slightly changed our plans, and did not go to Choquekirau as we were planning. Instead we meet up with 3 friends in Arequipa and will go off trekking to the Colca Canyon for 6 days. We will do it on our own, so we just bought the stove, pots and pans and we just need to arrange a couple of brave donkeys! We should get going on Thursday so, expect some news next week if we do not get lost... Here you have some details of the trek: around 60 Km, going as high as 5,500m., descending around 2,000m. to the bottom of the canyon and ending in a volcanoes valley. Looks cool!!!
All the best!
