New Zealand. Here we are!!

Hi lads! We started to enjoy New Zealand! After sorting out some difficulties at customs, where we had to deal with an asshole, we got to Wellington. Things down there went smooth as silk, thanks to Emily (our friend met in Mexico) and Bob. They hosted us at their home and made everything easier!
Our mums and friends will arrive today and for the occasion we thought that nothing would be better than a motorhome to tour around. That is it friends, after the camper in Australia, and now the motorhome, we do not see ourselves living in a house anymore... This one is huge, with 6 berth, toilet, shower and fully furnished. It is like driving a small truck!
The two of us drove up to Auckland to pick it up and made it our home for three days, enjoying it alone, before the crew arrived. We headed to the Northland, to the Bay of Islands: stunning coastal scenery, loads of scattered islands, clear blue to turquoise waters, narrow roads, hundreds of rolling green hills and sleepy atmosphere (it is low-low season). We loved it. We can just call this a great warming up for what we have in front the next days!
NZ was the major land mass to be peopled and this isolation defines its vegetation and geology. Its landscape is very varied, from the almost tropical north to the snow-capped alpine range and the glaciers at the south passing through the volcanic region at the center with geysers, active volcanoes, fumaroles, hot springs and bubbling pools.
Sorry friends, the plane just arrived... and we do not want them to get lost!
See you soon!
Muaaaaaaa!
